1. Data processed
Browsing data (IP address, URLs of the pages visited, time, browser and operating system) collected automatically by the website systems; data provided voluntarily by the user through the contact form, email, telephone or the booking engine (first name, surname, email, telephone, dates of stay, special requirements, payment data processed by the payment circuit); data collected through cookies and similar tools as described in the Cookie Policy.
2. Purposes and legal bases
(a) Handling information requests and bookings, performance of the accommodation contract and related obligations (Art. 6.1.b GDPR); (b) legal, tax, accounting and public security obligations, including the reports to the authorities required of accommodation facilities (Art. 6.1.c GDPR); (c) website security, prevention of fraud and abuse (Art. 6.1.f GDPR, legitimate interest); (d) statistical measurement of website traffic and measurement of advertising conversions through Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads (Art. 6.1.a GDPR, consent given through the cookie banner, which may be withdrawn at any time); (e) direct email marketing only with specific prior consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
3. Retention
Booking and accounting data: 10 years from the end of the relationship for tax obligations; contact requests not followed by a booking: 24 months; browsing data and security logs: up to 12 months; data collected through cookies: for the durations stated in the Cookie Policy; data for direct marketing: until consent is withdrawn and in any case no longer than 24 months from the last contact.
4. Recipients
Authorised staff of the controller; suppliers acting as data processors (hotel management system and booking engine WuBook S.r.l.; hosting and email providers; Google Ireland Ltd for Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and Google Tag Manager; payment circuits); accounting and legal advisers; public authorities in the cases provided for by law. Data is not disseminated.
5. Transfers outside the EU
Some suppliers (Google) may process data in the United States on the basis of the EU-US adequacy decision (Data Privacy Framework) and of standard contractual clauses.
6. Nature of the provision of data
Providing the data required for bookings and requests is necessary; without it the service cannot be provided. Consent to non-necessary cookies is optional and refusing it does not limit the use of the website.
7. Rights of the data subject
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent (Arts. 15-22 GDPR), by writing to info@nazarethresidence.com; a reply will be given within one month. A complaint may be lodged with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
8. Automated decision-making
No profiling with legal effects and no automated decision-making is carried out.
